We are currently seeking a Global Head of Flow Cytometry Portfolio, a key operating member of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences’ Flow Cytometry (Flow) Business Unit leadership team. This role is crucial to ensure the portfolio’s success and to grow the company's position as a leader in Flow Cytometry.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • overseeing and managing all aspects of this portfolio’s products and services to create sustainable competitive advantage
  • driving results through exceptional leadership skills, consistently championing and supporting a culture of continuous improvement
  • leading the portfolio’s innovation, growth and profitability through strategic planning, team leadership, product development and innovation, collaboration with the Flow BU Workflow Product Managers, R&D, and industry representation.

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as biology, bioengineering, biotechnology, or a related discipline is typically required. Advanced degrees, such as an MBA, can also be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of flow cytometry technologies, practices, and industry trends are essential.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within the life sciences or healthcare industry is required (7+ years). This includes experience in managing global teams, and driving business growth.
  • The ability to develop and implement strategic plans, identify market opportunities, and make data-driven decisions is crucial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to navigate the complexities of the industry.
  • A solid understanding of business principles, financial management, and budgeting is important. Experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and implementing cost-effective measures is beneficial. Previous experience with Danaher Business System (DBS) or continuous improvement/lean methodologies is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively leading teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and building relationships with customers and partners. This includes strong presentation, negotiation, and networking abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, certifications, and quality control standards in the life sciences industry is important. This includes knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), and other applicable regulations.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $225,000-$315,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
