Position Summary
As part of the Operations leadership team, the Production Director is responsible for ensuring efficient production operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and achieve production targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing operations.

This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
COST MANAGEMENT
- Analyzes the budgeted expense rates for various financial accounts compared to the previous fiscal year.
- Based on the previous year's budget and the company's strategic plan, prepares the annual budget with the objective of achieving /exceeding the annual expense rate targets
- Verifies and supervises the annual, monthly, and weekly production plans, ensures adherence to the production calendar, processes reasonable overtime requests, and controls attendance and energy consumption
- Promotes lean production, involving all employees in improvement proposals, frontline staff in submitting improvement proposals based on a personnel ratio, and supervisors participating in or leading improvement projects
- Regularly inspects material inventory and conducts variance analysis for each production line, as well as mid-year and year-end inventories
- Organizes or assists in the consumption planning of stagnant materials and the reuse of surplus materials at the frontline
PRODUCTIVITY MANAGEMENT
- Establishes and achieves annual efficiency targets, based on monthly target analysis
- Collaborates with the Process Engineering Department to develop efficiency enhancement plans for important projects and products
- Supervises work order closures, monitors production cycles, and continually seeks improvements
DELIVERY MANAGEMENT
- Based on the annual company objectives, allocates resources reasonably by forecasting the output value of each production line
- Ensures the reasonableness of each production plan, coordinate planning, arrange production, complete production tasks with quality and quantity assurance, and ensure the effective execution of production plans
- Handles PTO to Production irregularity management, verification of material completeness once every three days, and downtime management
- daily reviews and supervises the activities of each production line
- Handles overall coordination of key projects
- Collaborates with the HR department for new employee recruitment and manage the probationary period
TEAM MANAGEMENT
1. Organizational Management: Based on the company's strategy, break down objectives, formulate annual production and operational plans, establishes a rational organizational structure, and allocates tasks accordingly; Provides guidance, supervision, and inspection of the work of subordinates, and maintains oversight of work progress and related data. Participate in new employee recruitment.
2. Performance Management: Collaborates with the HR department to revise performance evaluation programs for frontline employees.
3. Personnel Development: Manages team development and talent structure. Identifies key and cross trained employees.
4. Employee Care: Regularly communicates with team leaders and employees to address and provide feedback on employee concerns, enhance employee satisfaction, and reduce turnover rates.
SAFETY AND 5S MANAGEMENT
- Oversees and ensures the safety and civilized production work in the manufacturing department and oversee the safety rectification of production lines
- Execute environmental and safety-related policies and supervise the allocation of responsibilities and the implementation of key environmental protection plans
