Senior Frontend Engineer II - Care team

We are looking for Senior Frontend Engineer II to join the Care tribe, which is composed of 3 cross-functional squads including 7 front-end engineers today.
The tribe provides products and services aiming to deliver a best-in-class after-sales experience to our customers. Our solutions are used by millions of customers, thousands of sellers and after-sales support agents.
Examples of such solutions are:1) Provide self-service information to customers regarding their orders2) Enable customers to contact Back Market or the seller for their after-sales requests via the right contact channel3) Organize their product return, replacement or repair

What you'll be doing:

• You will report to the tribe head of engineering. You will demonstrate an ability to understand customer needs, business vision and decisions. You are open-minded and data-driven.


• You will distribute your attention equally between the tribe and broader company initiatives, proactively identifying areas where you would have the biggest impact.


• You will work with the team and leaders across the company to define and deliver our architecture vision. You will think long-term and make high-judgment decisions to ensure we build maintainable software solutions. 


• You will help the team scale while delivering efficiently and pragmatically. You will demonstrate technical leadership and mentor the team of engineers. You will immerse yourself in your team’s software development lifecycle to have a hands-on impact.


• Your expertise is deep and broad. Depending on the needs, you are able to contribute both directly and through others. You produce both best-in-class technical work and high-level architectural designs. You strive for simplicity and understand the cost of building and maintaining software.

What you'll bring to the team:

• Technical expertise in designing and building complex front-end applications with web technologies
• Experience successfully operating and serving front-end applications in cloud-based environments
• Mentor and develop your fellow engineers
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
