The Position

As a Utility Project Engineer, you will join our project organization dedicated to ensuring capacity to meet the growing demand from Novo Nordisk A/S. We are achieving this by establishing a new greenfield Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) production facility in Køge.
 
Our new facility is built to modern standards. Sustainability and safety are essential during construction and operation, with consideration for future expansion capabilities.

 

The team is working closely together with different stakeholders across departments and teams.

 

The main task will be to:
•    Review 3D model, drawings, technical specifications, and conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of Utilities & Equipment.
•    Advise on constructability and installation sequence of Utilities & Equipment, and on choice of materials & maintenance.
•    Oversee installation, commissioning, and vendor performance.
•    Prepare documentation according to GMP.
•    Secure stable and reliable operation of utilities.

 

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should have:
•    Min. bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or a related field.
•    Strong knowledge and hands-on-experience with Utilities & Equipment including design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
•    Experience with managing projects in a highly regulated industry, such as pharmaceutical or food industry.
•    Good technical insights and a natural talent for IT, while ATEX environments experience is considered a plus.
•    Fluency in English, knowledge of Danish is nice to have.

 

On a personal level, you are a true team player who has a drive to take a deep dive into the technical aspects of things. Amazing communication, partnering and collaboration skills are crucial to succeed in this role.

About the department

For the next couple of years, you will be part of the project organisation, seeing the project all the way through to operation. You will also be affiliated with the Technical Support department, where you will be able to draw on the experiences of employees and people managers within the field. After the project you will either assist other projects, support operations with Equipment & Utilities and other related technical systems, or advance your career further within Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S.
