At the Sun Chemical - Color Materials site in Maastricht, we produce pigment preparations for plastics and raw materials for 3D printing with a team of about 90 people.

To expand our Quality Services team, we are looking for a Senior Laboratory Technician

 

 

As Senior Lab Technician you will be part of the EHS&Q team in Maastricht and you will be involved in:

 

• Provide analytical (testing) support to the various internal customers and external customers to ensure the accuracy, timeline and clarity of the reported results.
• Ensure that all tasks and activities are carried out in accordance with the venue's EHS regulations/guidelines and EHS culture.
• Ensuring the conversion of safety data sheets into work instruction cards
• Developing new test methods
• To gain a broad understanding of the working procedures and to come up with suggestions for improving these procedures.
• Complete all tests in accordance with defined procedures.
• Ensure that the tests are completed according to the agreed timetables.
• In this position, you will report to the Supervisor Quality Services of the site in Maastricht.

 

Your profile (Wij vragen)

 

• Level BOL-4, direction laboratory technology
• At least 1 year of work experience in a similar position in an industrial work environment - preferably in chemistry or the willingness to learn the work (internal);
• Self starter;
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• In addition, you are flexible and can set priorities well.
