Associate or Full Professor in the Practice of Business Analytics

The School of Business at Gordon College is seeking the right individual to join our growing faculty team! Our small classes and active community allow faculty to develop strong relationships with students and colleagues. We are seeking an individual who exhibits excellence in the practice of business analytics, is a committed Christian, and is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of Christian business leaders. 

Located on Boston’s North Shore, a beautiful coastal area with classic New England towns and easy access to the Boston area, Gordon College is a vibrant Christian community committed to the liberal arts. We strive to foster conversation at the intersection of faith and cultural engagement in a wide variety of disciplines, all with the mission to prepare Christian men and women to actively participate in every community in which they find themselves. 

Gordon College invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, Associate or Full Professor in the Practice of Business Analytics. This is a three-year, non-tenure track, renewable appointment. Rank will be commensurate with experience and education. The position will begin in August 2025, with flexibility for an earlier start as soon as May 2025. 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

•       Demonstrate a dynamic Christian faith.

•       I have an advanced degree in business analytics or in a related field.

•       Have industry experience and demonstrated expertise in business strategy, management information systems design, data analysis (including collection & storage, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis) and communication.

•       Have experience in and/or ability to teach the following courses: business intelligence, business statistics, management information systems, and business analytics electives related to the candidate’s area of expertise.
