Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated, performance-driven, knowledgeable and detail-oriented U.S. Tax Manager to join our expanding tax organization. The ideal candidate will handle U.S. tax compliance, quarterly estimated taxes, and tax provisions. This role works with the U.S. Tax Director, manages tax staff, and collaborates with business units on tax matters and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation and timely completion of the U.S. tax returns and related documents in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Prepare and support U.S. international tax calculations including BEAT, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, and expense allocations.
- Responsible for the completion of tax calculations, estimates and payments, including quarterly and annual tax provisions and various tax computations.
- Manage the R&D tax credit process and work internally and with R&D specialists to document qualified expenditures.
- Oversee U.S. tax compliance calendar and ensure timely interactions with finance team and with external advisors.
- Assist with the management and enhancement of internal controls for all reporting and compliance workstreams.
- Manage U.S. indirect tax filings and related tax notices and audits.
- Lead a variety of U.S. federal and state tax related special projects and tax research.
- Attend professional development and training sessions to stay current with tax legislative matters and technical issues.
- Support the research and implementation of tax software or automation systems that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax preparation and reporting processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in corporate tax or public accounting
- Experienced with preparation and review of U.S. consolidated income tax filings.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Power Point. Strong Excel skills required
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or MST preferred
- Background managing the R&D Tax Credit Process
- Pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience
- Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP), SAP, Alteryx or other automation tools is a plus.

- This position is eligible for hybrid or remote working arrangements.
- Limited travel requirements locally and globally

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $109,350.00 - $164,025.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
