International N&H Mfg. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor the role will typically entail the following responsibilities: 

 

•    Main responsible is in the operation of chromatography and hyphenated techniques, eg: IC-CD and IC-MS, extensive knowledge of these techniques is essential.
•    Calibrate and verify the readiness of laboratory equipment.
•    Complete all appropriate training through standard operating procedures and safety Risk Assessments.
•    Communicate with team members and other functions to ensure all laboratory activities are coordinated and completed timely.
•    Documentation of all testing performed in accordance with cGMP and all other regulatory requirements. 
•    Update standard operating procedures.
•    Ability to use computer effectively as work requires, experience in Microsoft suite, LIMS or equivalent and SAP is an advantage.
•    Provide additional technical support to laboratories as needed, which may include participation in cross-functional teams for site initiatives.
•    Identify continuous improvement opportunities, collaborate to seek buy-in and support implementation.
•    Play an active role in complying with and enhancing the Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
•    Full training will be provided.

 

Hours of Work


•    Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:30.
•    There may be a requirement to periodically work out of normal business hours. 

Job Requirements

 

•   3rd level Degree in scientific discipline or equivalent.
•    A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position working in chromatography and hyphenated techniques is essential.
•    Self-motivated and flexible.
•    Good communication skills
•    Strong priority and time management. 
•    Ability to work on own initiative and within a group.
•    Logical and objective, decisions based on information.
•    Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies an advantage.
