Project Controls Coordinator

If you are a highly motivated professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you as a Project Controls Coordinator at our St. Louis, MO, Austin, TX or Houston, TX location.  Emerson’s Process Systems and Solutions business develops automation software to streamline manufacturing processes by collaborating with customers to identify problems and develop innovative solutions.  

 

As a Project Controls Coordinator, you will be a key player in ensuring our projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on project performance to provide critical insights to our project managers and customers. This is an opportunity to take ownership of project financial and scheduling health and make a direct impact on our success. 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Support Project Team
  • Support the initiation, monitoring and controlling of all aspects of Projects.
  • Use Power BI dashboards, scheduling and forecasting tools to control Projects.
• Use analytics tools to provide insight into the health of our projects
  • Use Power BI dashboards to analyze key project metrics in a meaningful way.
  • Report to Project Managers and Key Leadership on insights and opportunities as they develop on projects.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor degree  with 2+ years experience OR 2-year diploma with 4+ years experience
• Experience in the areas of Project Controls, Cost Accounting, Scheduling or Planning
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of and experience with any of the following: Oracle Projects, Clarity, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6
• PMI-SP or CAPM certification
• Proven results in Communicating Effectively and Being Resilient.
