Financial Management Analyst – Franchisee Financial Health and Restaurant Closure Analytics

Support Inspire Brands’ financial modeling and analysis relating to the financial health of franchisees and restaurant operations. This role will support franchisees and internal stakeholders such as Operations, Finance, Legal, and Accounting.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Franchisee Financial Health Analytics:

• Support franchisees’ financial reporting system
  • Onboard and train franchisees, accountants, and operations team
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, provide data validation, and identify profitability opportunities
  • Drive continuous economic improvement with data analysis
  • Create training and reporting documentation
  • Proactively identify economic trends

Restaurant Closure Analytics:

• Administer restaurant closure process
  • Collaborate with operations team to forecast and track restaurant closures
  • Monitor and update restaurant database
  • Lead periodic review meetings with key internal stakeholders
  • Calculate fees
  • Advise Legal, Accounting and Collections departments

Cross-Functional Team Member:

• Provide financial representation for brand-specific category management and initiatives
• Assist internal and external stakeholders on an ad hoc basis
• Support the business proposal request system by maintaining approval matrix, training users, writing requests, and adding post-approval comments
• Administer drive-thru and relocation incentive program reconciliations and payments for eligible franchisees

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4 Year / Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance or equivalent job experience
• Professional designation or master’s degree in finance or business administration preferred
• 2+ years in Finance, Analytics, or business-related experience
• Retail or QSR industry is a plus

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to present to cross-functional teams, executive level stakeholders, and franchisees
• Excellent customer service skills and desire to prioritize response time
• Proficient understanding of financial statements
• Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize projects with competing priorities
• Work under tight deadlines
• Experience working with large data sets and creating financial models
• Effectively mine data and draw relevant results on business performance
• Self-starter with strong business acumen
• Ability to anticipate issues and create solutions
• Ability to work well with others as a member of a cross-functional team
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including PowerPoint and Excel
