About the Role:We’re seeking an experienced General Foreman to oversee melt shop operations, including Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) and Ladle Metallurgical Furnace (LMF) areas. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on daily operations, continuous improvement, team development, and safety compliance. You will directly supervise a team of Shift Supervisors and report to the Melt Shop Superintendent.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred
- 10+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
- 5+ years in a melt shop, foundry, or similar environment strongly preferred
- Proven track record in team leadership and continuous improvement
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Knowledge of industry safety and environmental regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to operational needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily production operations in melt shop areas
- Ensure safety, environmental, and quality compliance
- Mentor, coach, and develop shift supervisors and production staff
- Plan and manage production schedules, down days, and workforce planning
- Analyze performance data to drive improvements in uptime, efficiency, and cost
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
