Available Shifts: Days or Nights (rotating weekends)

Compensation:

• Base Pay: $31.86 – $46.28/hour (based on years of experience)

  • 5 years: ~$36.12/hour

  • 10 years: ~$40.44/hour

  • 17+ years: ~$46.28/hour

• Shift Differentials: +$4.50/hour (Nights), +$1.50/hour (Weekends)

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Day Shift) | $20,000 (Night Shift) – through end of Q3

• Relocation: Available, case by case

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled ICU Stepdown RN to join a dedicated team in a fast-paced critical care stepdown unit. This is a true stepdown environment with 15 beds, a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1 (occasionally 4:1), and patients requiring drips and long-term ventilator care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform frequent assessments and monitor patients requiring close observation

• Intervene in critical situations using sound clinical judgment

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care

• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments

• Advocate for patients’ needs and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes

Qualifications:

• Florida RN license or multistate compact license (required)

• 1+ years of recent ICU Stepdown RN experience

  • Will consider candidates with 3+ years of Cardiac PCU or Multisystem PCU

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred

• NIH Stroke Scale certification (within 30 days of hire)

• BLS (within 30 days), ACLS (within 6 months of hire)
