About the role

Description

HTS is now hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the team at two skilled nursing facilities in Rochester (Fulton) and Peru (Miami), IN. This is a Lead Therapist position, so the OTA in this role will primarily treat patients while also performing lead therapist duties such as attending facility and team meetings, following up on therapy referrals, planning minutes and reporting any issues to Regional Director. Will typically work at both facilities daily.

  • Full-time position at 30 - 40 hours per week.
  • Competitive hourly rate and benefits package.
  • Compensated mileage and drive time between the two facilities, which are located 30 minutes (less than 30 miles) apart.

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.


Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
