Position Overview
This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform preparation review and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Maintains vendor lists and updates compliance items.
- Receives requests, updates records, initiates paperwork and follows up on request for approval of compliance records.
- Monitors compliance to contract requirements ensuring all conditions are satisfied before vendor begins work.
- Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating construction. I.e., lien laws
- Setup and manage subcontractors and vendors in QuickBase module.
- Issue subcontracts and Master Service Agreements.
- Receive/maintain subcontractor and vendor insurance, etc.
- Issue Work Orders under the Master Service Agreements
- Obtain appropriate approval at each step to ensure SOX compliance.
- Work with operational and field staff to ensure compliance is complete prior to work commencing.
- Other duties as assigned per supervisor.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Degree GED is preferred.
Work Requirements
- One (1) to Two (2) years previous related experience/training is preferred.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have (or be able to quickly gain) knowledge of Internet software, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other job-related software.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write clearly and effectively.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Insurance related experience preferred.
- Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.
