As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Network Coordinator and Education Strategic Planning Specialist to join our growing team. This position is contingent on contract award.

Duties of the Network Coordinator and Education Strategic Planning Specialist will include the following:
Qualifications
The Network Coordination and Education Strategic Planning Specialist selected should have the following:
- Provides support for the NOAA Education Council, the Coastal Ecosystems Learning Centers (CELC) network, the Regional Coordination Network (RCN), or other networks as needed. Drafts meeting agendas. Maintains listservs and disseminates meeting information and other appropriate material to network members. Supports data calls by collecting required information from multiple sources and synthesizing such information for review by Office leadership.
- Manages network websites. Work network members and office’s Communication team to develop and publish web stories that highlight network accomplishments.Supports the implementation of NOAA’s Education Strategic Plan and/or other network guiding documents. Supports the Office of Education Communications team with the development of network accomplishments reports (e.g., NOAA Education Report). Supports the collection and reporting of common metrics and other performance indicators or the network, during the annual Unified Data Call.
- Education/Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of NOAA’s science and education efforts. Familiarity with Agency policies, priorities, and objectives. Experience with data collection from multiple sources and development of reports summarizing this information. Experience with strategic planning and with the analytical methods and techniques for assessing and evaluating program development and execution. Excellent oral and writing skills. MA or MS degree in NOAA related fields and 2 to 4 years of experience.
