Specialist-Information Services Intermediate

(This is an onsite position in Plainfield, Indiana)

We are adding a new member to our team that has experience working on IT equipment. This includes, but is not limited to laptops, workstations, and printers. This person should have a good understanding of Microsoft Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive IT equipment to evaluate for reuse, repair, or decommissioning.
• Maintain up to date and accurate records of assets in the service manager.
• Test, clean and prepare received equipment for reuse.
• Repair IT equipment such as laptops, workstations, printers, scanners, and monitors for reuse.
• Candidate must be willing to become Dell and Lexmark certified (or current vendor) to do warranty work on assets.
• Perform warranty work with vendors for the repair of assets.
• Maintain up to date records in the service manager.
• Prepare equipment for decommissioning that do not meet standards. 
• Assist ISC IT Storage team as needed.

REQUIRMENTS:

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's preferred.
• 2-4 years experience in Service Desk required.
• A+ Certification preferred.
• Understands basic concepts of Information Services.
• Previous Phone support experience required.
• Recommends experience working in a Network Operations Center.
• Requires the ability to work any shift or day as needed by management.
