Specialist-Information Services Intermediate
(This is an onsite position in Plainfield, Indiana)
We are adding a new member to our team that has experience working on IT equipment. This includes, but is not limited to laptops, workstations, and printers. This person should have a good understanding of Microsoft Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive IT equipment to evaluate for reuse, repair, or decommissioning.
- Maintain up to date and accurate records of assets in the service manager.
- Test, clean and prepare received equipment for reuse.
- Repair IT equipment such as laptops, workstations, printers, scanners, and monitors for reuse.
- Candidate must be willing to become Dell and Lexmark certified (or current vendor) to do warranty work on assets.
- Perform warranty work with vendors for the repair of assets.
- Maintain up to date records in the service manager.
- Prepare equipment for decommissioning that do not meet standards.
- Assist ISC IT Storage team as needed.
REQUIRMENTS:
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's preferred.
- 2-4 years experience in Service Desk required.
- A+ Certification preferred.
- Understands basic concepts of Information Services.
- Previous Phone support experience required.
- Recommends experience working in a Network Operations Center.
- Requires the ability to work any shift or day as needed by management.
