ARSIEM seeks a Software Engineer/Developer 3 familiar with networking and software technologies. This position will support one of our government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD.
 

Responsibilities

• Perform DevOps, software engineering, and software development to support a specialized network and its applications.
• Take initiative in work.
• Display strong communications skills, work in a dynamic environment on multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 12+ years of general experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in software-intensive projects and programs for government or industry customers.
• At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirement analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with new and existing systems). ​
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline may be substituted for 4 years of general experience.
• A master's degree is a plus.​

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable in a Linux environment and have experience with programming languages in client and server architecture.
• Experience with Docker or containerization.
• Experience with Ansible or a similar automation tool.
• Experience with Gitlab.
• Experience in Redis, Rabbit MQ, Go lang, JSON, NiFi, storage technologies, and virtualization technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of networking and hands-on network and system administration experience.
• Prior success working in a team environment.​

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role?
