Senior Test Automation Engineer

Right now, we are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering Studio. This Studio uses modern product management techniques to ensure products solve the right problems, meet user expectations, and achieve business value.

 

You will get the chance to:

 

● Help your scrum team to automate tests with Playwright, Robot Framework and teach best practices

● Automate the hardest test cases including website, android, ios, smart tv, REST API & Kafka, and performance test cases.

● Perform exploratory testing during development to detect corner cases and improve output quality

● Perform manual testing, only when needed (es: test on physical devices)

● Contribute in writing stories and test requirements, including UX, UI and business logic

● Strive to find better ways to improve quality with a proactive mindset

● Perform troubleshooting and find root cause of issues

● Write UAT / how to test in the stories with the SCRUM team

 

What will help you succeed:

 

● Experience with test automation frameworks, better if Playwright and Robot Framework

● Experience in test of web / Android / iOS or SmartTV applications

● Experience with application and access log analysis

● Ability to use web browser developer tools

● Good knowledge of Restful API integration and HTTP protocol

● Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases and ability to perform queries

● Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and ability to use the terminal shell

● Knowledge of quality best practices

● Good level of English Nice to have

● Knowledge of CI/CD Tools (e.g. Jenkins) and release procedures

● Knowledge of a programming language, better if Python

● Knowledge of monitoring systems (e.g. Grafana, Stackdriver, Firebase, Conviva)

● Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker

● Knowledge of queue or event streaming brokers (e.g. Kafka)

● Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, TDD, XP)

● Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Bitbucket)
