Summary

Responsible for providing timely, accurate information and tools to appropriate end-users through a variety of data sources.

Job Description

Responsibilities include ensuring projects contain information required to create in-depth analytics that contribute towards informed decisions regarding care and fiscally responsible management of all populations the organization serves. Designs and processes projects of varying complexities for all customers. Duties include coordinating activities with Information Systems' staff and other departments and to ensure that information is accurate and accessible to end users.

Must be able to work well with other members of a team. Must be able to write and verbally communicate in a legible and understandable manner and be comfortable with communicating information to others. Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times. Must be willing to learn computer programs and applications necessary for data collection. Must be willing to make independent and timely decisions when circumstances warrant. Must possess the ability to deal effectively with personnel, regulatory agencies, and the general public. Must have the ability to conceptualize the abstract. Must be able to collect and
organize detailed information.

Continuously searches for opportunities of automating manual processes and developing on-demand tools for descriptive data. Must have patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as willingness and ability to handle difficult situations. Must be willing to seek out new information and knowledge and be willing to embrace new responsibilities and change.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science, computer science, statistics, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related majors required.

Experience with computerized data retrieval tools is required. Past experience commensurate with area of responsibility preferred.

EPIC Data Model Certification in specified application required within the first year of employment.
