Legend Biotech is seeking Senior HR Operations Specialist as part of the HR team based in Somerset, NJ. 

Role Overview

The Senior HR Operations Specialist will be a self-motivated HR Operations partner that will help support the day-to-day operations of the HR Department. This position will be instrumental in maintaining accurate HR records, documentation, owning employee onboarding and offboarding, and assisting in compliance and reporting efforts. The Senior HR Operations Specialist will play a critical role in enhancing the overall employee experience and contributing to the organization's success by assisting with implementing efficient HR processes and providing exceptional service to employees and HR partners. This position requires a detail-oriented and process-driven individual with strong analytical skills and a commitment to upholding HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities  

• Assist with developing scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR Operations and streamline core processes, like onboarding, hiring, terminations, and others that make up the employment life-cycle.
• Evaluate existing HR processes, identifying recurring tasks and critical procedures that warrant SOP documentation; engage with relevant stakeholders to gather insights into the existing processes, ensuring comprehensive documentation and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Create a positive onboarding experience by conducting new hire orientation and managing a smooth employee onboarding process; evaluate the onboarding process and make recommendations for improvements.
• In collaboration with the Senior HR Operations Manager, develop new strategic activities, team building events and other initiatives as needed.
• Partner closely with the HR Business Partners and other HR functions to assist in their day-to-day tasks.
• Handle employee’s queries regarding HR procedures, polices, and HR programs.
• Prepare reports that seek to provide information needed by all business units.
• Support the Compliance QR Package project, including following up with employees on JD submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 4 years of related HR Operations experience.
• Proficiency in HR systems and databases, as well as the ability to learn new systems quickly; Workday experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge in HR service delivery, HR policies, and effective processes.
• Must have demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information.
• Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively communicate with employees and management on all levels.
• Proactive and self-motivated, collaborative with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
• Excellent coordination and time management skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
