The Work You Will Do:
Construction Project Administrator 1 / District Six/Director of Operations / District Construction / North Miami-Dade Construction
This position will contribute to the agency by performing engineering work and contract administration on multiple minor to mid-size projects. The role involves working with project personnel to solve problems and ensuring compliance with Department policies and procedures. Responsibilities include preparing or assisting with construction measurements for Final Estimates reports, maintaining accurate construction records, monitoring the sampling and testing of materials, certifying the accuracy of monthly and final payments, reviewing construction plans prior to letting, and ensuring compliance with EEO, On-the-Job Training, and DBE requirements while promoting safety standards.

Annual Salary Range:
$54,794.65 - $70,910.72
A Competitive Area Differential (CAD) additive in the amount of $1,976.00 will be added to the annual salary.
Your Specific Responsibilities:
Performs engineering work on multiple minor to mid-size projects of low complexity. Assures that highway and bridge projects are constructed in accordance with contract documents. Assists project personnel, including contractor, in solving problems that may arise during construction and ensures compliance with Department policies and procedures related to Construction Engineering and Inspection. Ensures that clear, accurate records are kept of all construction related activities. Communicates on a regular basis with Supervisors, Contractors
