Location: Orlando, Florida (In Office, when not traveling)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our Team. The Regional Sales Manager will play a critical role in expanding our sales and market share by effectively managing and growing our dealer network. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong leadership abilities, and exceptional relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

Dealer Network Management:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  2. Identify, recruit, and onboard new dealers within the assigned region, strategically expanding our network.
  3. Regularly visit dealerships to provide support, training, and guidance to maximize their sales performance.
  4. Collaborate with dealers to develop joint marketing and promotional activities to drive sales growth.
  5. Monitor dealer performance, sales targets, and market trends, providing analysis and recommendations to optimize results.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  1. Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with the company's overall sales objectives.
  2. Set ambitious sales targets for the region, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions as needed.
  3. Identify market opportunities and potential growth areas within the assigned territory.
  4. Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and pricing.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional materials for the dealer network.

Team Leadership and Training:

  1. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals within the region, ensuring their performance and growth.
  2. Provide guidance and support to the sales team, assisting with complex sales negotiations and customer escalations.
  3. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the dealer network.
  4. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a strong work ethic and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Analysis:

  1. Prepare regular sales reports, analyzing sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  2. Provide accurate sales forecasts, budget proposals, and other reports as required.
  3. Present sales data, strategies, and recommendations to senior management during regional meetings.

 

Required Qualifications

  1. Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the marine industry.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Experience in managing a dealer network and building successful relationships with dealers.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify market opportunities.
  6. Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Google Office Suite.
  7. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  8. Willingness to live in Orlando. 
  9. Conversational English.
