We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent – want to join the ride? </p> <p> </p> <p>Wärtsilä Shared Service Centre (WSSC) supports the Wärtsilä companies in financial accounting and other operational tasks and acts as a gatekeeper to ensure compliance. We are now looking for an Accountant to join our energetic and customer-oriented Travel Expenses team working for a better future. Our office is in Runsor, Vaasa (Finland), where we are working flexibly a few days a week, with partial remote work opportunity.</p> <p> </p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <p> </p> <p>In this position, your work will include handling incoming travel expenses, solving issues and being in contact with various Wärtsilä teams and employees to improve the end-to-end process. On a typical day, you might be starting with responding to emails and ending the day with processing travel expense reports. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from the team. </p> <p> </p> <p>For us to be the best match, we expect you to have a good understanding of accounting and experience from working in a customer-facing role. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience from customer service and have a degree in accounting or other business related field.
