Manager, Digital Marketing
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Digital Marketing Manager will execute the best possible digital experience for our business unit partners and customers. You will be an integral part of our digital marketing team and have experience leveraging an integrated digital ecosystem to drive inbound leads, optimize visibility of our website and position our company for growth and success in the digital space. You are consumer-centric and proactive, working with web development teams, Demand Generation partners and our business unit leaders to ensure our digital channels have relevant content that drives awareness and conversions. You will be a key player in helping us transform how we operate today to be a more digital-first organization for the future.
This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Spartanburg, SC and offers flexible mix of in-office and remote. You will report into the Director of Digital Marketing and partner with a larger team of marketing and IT partners to support key enterprise initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Content
• Collaborate with division and agency partners to drive content generation and publishing in alignment with our marketing automation strategy to increase brand awareness and drive conversions on-site.
• Deliver audience-first content recommendations for our divisions to unlock competitive advantage while identifying test and learn opportunities.
• Create a captivating content and web calendar to deliver content and assets for target audiences, ensuring web and content strategy supports demand generation and SEO goals.
• Perform keyword research to inform content needs and create content briefs for business unit content creation (homepage heroes, blogs, articles, white papers).
• Actively seek out data and insights to inform business unit and product level content needs.
• Utilize data to inform overarching digital content decisions on content creation and optimization.
Web Strategy
• Work with development and UX/UI teams to evolve the website toward best-in-class amongst our industries by utilizing a test and target approach.
• Provide ongoing web content optimizations to support key business initiatives, product launches, and messaging.
• Monitor all web properties consistently, ensuring not only functionality, but also viewing the website through a customer lens that drives conversions and ongoing optimization.
• Plan and implement an optimized way to present personalized content to segmented customers.
• Facilitate and implement Google Tag Manager, acting as the GTM owner.
• Collaborate with the web development team to optimize a vast array of content, functionality, and site search/navigation.
• Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, working to evaluate web properties and collaboratively build solutions and processes that empower those around you.
General
• Serve as a trusted collaborator, partnering closely with a variety of teams and divisions to achieve shared strategic priorities.
• Stay at the leading edge of industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into our content and web strategy.
• Ensure analytics and KPIs are in place to inform future improvements and optimization of both content and website.
• Communicates project details to stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain a process for delivering digital channel services.
• Create digital dashboards to measure performance and KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree required.
