SUMMARY
The Business Planning Manager is responsible for providing the necessary support for business and corporate strategy, planning and operation. Responsibilities include planning, reporting, and other administrative supports for Corporate Planning team. This position reports to the Head of Business Planning & Strategy, or another senior management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position will also work directly with all levels within each function to effectively and efficiently complete defined tasks and key projects. The incumbent will be expected to accomplish this with a mindset of continuous improvement consistent with the corporate culture and growth objectives at the company. This position reports to the Head of Business planning, or another senior management personnel that the Senior Vice President/President of the Company may designate. The Planning Manager is responsible for providing the necessary support for the HQC’s solar tracker strategy, planning and operation. Responsibilities include planning, reporting, and other administrative supports for the Business Planning and Strategy team. This position may be required to travel up to 10% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and manage rolling basis mid to long-term business forecasts of the full financial statement to assist the business with strategic decision making
- Manage the annual budgeting process through target setting and review of business unit inputs and key assumptions
- Coordinate complex long-term organizational strategy projects with other members of the accounting and finance team and with other departments
- Develop a mid to long-term P&L report and cash flows forecasts
- Develop achievable short-term goals and analyze progress toward goals such as KPIs
- Provide strategic & financial rationale support Monthly Business Reviews, Executive/Investment Committee meetings, group requests/meetings, and C-level client engagements as needed
- Create materials & references for the executive’s meetings between headquarter, other subsidiaries
- Assist with strategic planning for market expansion and area development in conjunction with internal development focused teams
- Manage project-specific workstreams, including internal approval processes as process manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business or a related technical field
- CPA, CFA or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in management consulting, accounting or corporate planning is preferred
- Experience with solar, wind, energy, mechanical, construction or technology solutions is preferred
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Self-directed with ability to work independently and effectively lead multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to communicate with cross-functional teams at multiple levels of the organization
- Advanced computer skills – MS Excel, Word, Power Point, data management or visualization tools
- Extraordinary business judgment and ability to assess impact of decisions on overall business performance
- Demonstrated track record of delivering results
