We’re actively seeking a talented Registered Consultant to join our Advisory Solutions Desk team based out of Omaha NE.

This role can be on-site, hybrid, or 100% remote.

As a Registered Consultant II you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by overseeing the onboarding, reviewing, and issuing of Pacific Life advisory annuity contracts in partnership with our Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) partners . You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 3 people in the Consumer Markets division.

How you’ll help move us forward:

  • Support the planning process for investment advisor representatives or other financial professionals.

  • Build relationships with centers of influence at Registered Investment Advisor firms in order to provide the highest level of customer service in support of annuity transactions.

  • Manage advisor needs from inception through completion by means of follow-up, advanced research, advisor advocacy, and collaboration with business partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information.

  • Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and state and federal securities and insurance rules and regulations.

  • Practice active listening, open-ended dialogue, and rapport building to gain a thorough understanding of advisors’ needs, while documenting conversations in our internal Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform for a personalized approach to service.

  • Champion client use of Pacific Life’s digital platforms and provide navigational support by leading with a superior understanding of features and benefits of Pacific Life’s tools, products, and services in order to encourage adoption.

  • Be a product expert of Pacific Life’s advisory annuity offerings.

  • Support incorporating annuity solutions into an advisory business model, navigating the distinct challenges and opportunities related to licensing, operations, technology and compliance.

  • Utilize new and existing infrastructures to support the collection and review of client needs and the use of internal and industry tools to facilitate the review, comparison, and presentation of potential annuity solutions.

  • Effectively manage moderately complex work, be self-directed, and quickly develop a full understanding of our business and the RIA industry.


The experience you bring:

  • FINRA Series 6/7 and 63 licenses required

  • Life Insurance and Variable Products license required

  • Minimum 3 years of sales/marketing experience in a Financial Services environment educating financial advisors, preferably with Annuities experience

  • Registered Investment Advisory and/or Advanced Markets experience a plus

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Economics or Finance, or equivalent Financial Industry experience

  • Assigned level of position will be based on candidates' work experience and transferrable skillset.
