Responsibilities:

• Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Perform vehicle repairs within your current capability/skill level
• Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Communicate with the service advisor and/or dispatcher if additional work is needed
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Road test vehicles when required
• Perform additional related duties as required and assigned

 

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 35 pounds from the ground
• Ability to physically strain to move large objects (i.e. pushing in a dead vehicle)
• Ability to stand on feet for multiple hours at a time
• Ability to crouch, kneel, bend over
• Fine motor skills to operate hand tools, computers, and small parts
• Gross motor skills of holding hands above head for an extended period of time
• Ability to withstand sudden light changes, and stimuli from computer/tablet screen
• Ability to see fine details in small components

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Ford Certified experience required
• 2+ years of experience working on Ford Diesel vehicles
• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have a clean & valid driver's license
