Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Men's Basketball Director of Player Development works in coordination with the Head Coach and Assistant Coaches to oversee and manage the internal needs and services of student-athletes. This position will assist with on-court development as well as working with multiple athletic department units including academics, compliance, marketing/communications and the ticket office. The Head Men's Basketball Coach will assign other duties and special projects as necessary. This position should have a basic knowledge of NCAA rules as it pertains to assigned job duties and the scope of employment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience: One year of relevant experience. 

Job Duties:

• 40% - Academic liaison to the Bratzke Student-Athlete Academic Success Center - (Essential)
• 30% - Oversee community service efforts - (Essential)
• 20% - On-court instruction and development - (Essential)
• 10% - Assist with basketball operations, scouting and other duties as assigned - (Essential)

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.
