Summary

As a key member of the Global Marketing team, the Senior Marketing Manager defines, builds, and implements strategic marketing programs that drive revenue and support growth in Europe.

This role works closely with global marketing stakeholders and cross-functionally with the regional sales organization and product management to develop an effective, localized go-to-market strategy for key product and feature releases, communicate key messages with partners, and execute integrated demand generation campaigns to increase the pipeline.

The Senior Marketing Manager reports directly to the Global Director of Marketing, but is based in the Amsterdam office. 

Responsibilities

• Own the regional marketing plan in Europe, from strategy to execution in alignment with global initiatives and sales objectives, including digital marketing, lead nurturing campaigns, supporting reseller partner programs, social media posts within Europe (as needed), supporting promotion of local events, etc.
• Plan and manage regional marketing spend, reporting, and ROI for specific initiatives and campaigns in Europe
• Build and maintain relationships with regional sales management, as the primary marketing contact to ensure alignment on sales targets, leads, and pipeline opportunities
• Collaborate with global marketing stakeholders to provide regional event recommendations, localize broader brand awareness, demand generation campaigns and partner programs as appropriate (e.g., positioning/relevance by region, translations).
• Manage and mentor the regional marketing manager(s) in Europe
• Collaborate with global marketing stakeholders to refine workflows for global and regional campaigns
• Monitor industry trends in Europe to share with the organization and potentially adapt plans as necessary

Experience

• 5+ years in B2B marketing with experience in regional marketing, partner marketing, or channel marketing
• 3+ years managing a team
• Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
• Proficiency in German and/or Dutch is preferred
• A proven track record of mentoring teams, building high-performing campaigns, and achieving targets in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong experience in managing regional demand generation activities by audience, driving qualified lead generation, and accelerating the sales pipeline with nuances by region
• Strong skills in budget planning
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• In-depth knowledge of marketing best practices, strategies, and tactics
• Experience in channel marketing and understanding of sell to and sell through business model strongly preferred
• Experience in security preferred
