Global Director, Citrus Platform & Flavor Innovation - Erlanger, KY or Cranbury, NJ

MAIN FUNCTION: Innovation Director with Citrus Expertise to lead both the Global Platform for Citrus and Flavor Innovation.  Position requires a principal or senior flavorist who will support growth by driving knowledge of new flavor ingredients and technologies across the global flavor creation community.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
 

• Flavor Creation Skills :  >15 years’ experience in flavor creation with a proven track record of expertise in the citrus category
• Leadership – The position requires excellence in leadership, project management skills and execution
• Communication – The position requires well developed communication and presentation skills
• Travel- Able and free to travel

DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED:
 

• Lead the Global Platform for Citrus Flavors – develop and implement the citrus flavor creation strategy across the globe
• Lead liaison between R&D and Flavor Creation Community
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to rollout new flavor innovation
• Member of the citrus leadership team to help develop strategic business, product and account development plans to grow the business
• Increase sales growth in the category by the development of a winning portfolio of innovative flavor ingredients
• Develop, train and coach flavorists across the globe in the citrus category
• Develop Customer relationships and opportunities that yield sales growth in the citrus category
• Participate in high potential citrus projects

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Science Degree or higher (chemistry /Food Science preferred) at a reputable educational establishment
At least >15 years certified flavorist experience ability to demonstrate a citrus competency
Can demonstrate leadership experience

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$161,400.00 - $300,700.00

Salaried Incentive Plan

The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus and a long-term incentive plan
