Director, Hardware Quality Engineering

In addition to driving hypergrowth with our current product line, Bevi is heavily investing in new product development.</p></div><p>We are seeking a strategic and hands-on <strong>Director, Hardware Quality Engineering</strong> to build and lead Bevi's hardware quality organization and shape the company's quality strategy across our product portfolio. This leader will develop a strong, self-sufficient team and drive the long-term roadmap for product reliability, supplier quality, and field performance, ensuring Bevi's systems deliver an exceptional customer experience and operational excellence at scale.</p> <p>You'll lead and grow a team of quality engineers and technicians, including hiring into open roles, and work closely with senior leaders in Hardware Engineering, Software, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations. The ideal candidate is a builder and a coach who has a track record of growing engineers into stronger contributors and leaders, combined with deep technical expertise and the ability to influence at the executive level.</p> <h3><strong>Your Day to Day</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Build the team: hire into open roles, set clear roles and career paths, and create a culture of accountability, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement</li> <li>Coach and mentor quality engineers and technicians through regular feedback, stretch assignments, and hands-on guidance, so the team can own problems end to end</li> <li>Set the vision and strategy for hardware quality across design, manufacturing, and field performance to support Bevi's growth and product roadmap</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with Engineering (hardware, firmware, and software), Manufacturing, and Supply Chain leadership to ensure quality and reliability are embedded early in product design and supplier selection</li> <li>Partner closely with the Director of Test &amp; Reliability so reliability findings feed directly into quality systems, supplier actions, and field improvement</li> <li>Own quality deliverables at each NPI phase gate, including quality planning, first article inspection, and launch readiness</li> <li>Establish and scale quality systems and processes tha
