About the role

The Technical PM has broad technical expertise within the product development lifecycle.  Demonstrates capability in strategic solution development for internal and external CSA products.  The Technical PM communicates and collaborates effectively with team members and customers. The Technical PM will be good at managing projects and teams with a high level of complexity within a consultative, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Solutioning/Product Support
  • Development, sustainment, and training support for CSA’s internal business systems (employee database, business intelligence tools, intranet). The systems require a variety of skills in: Data/Knowledge Management, Data Visualization, JavaScript, SQL, VBA, Amazon Web Services Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, M365 Administration.
  • Assess and stay current on the latest technology trends and solutions 
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop creative or innovative solutions
  • Gain a deep understanding of end-user experience and adapt products and documentation as necessary 
  • Project Management
  • Lead development, delivery, sustainment, and continuous improvement of automation and modernization tools
  • Work with stakeholders to analyze the needs of a product and align the roadmap to strategic goals
  • Mitigate scope and budget creep for projects
  • Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
  • Conduct Analyses of Alternatives for proposed product solutions, assist stakeholders in understanding business process, value, and value proposition
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during throughout product development to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Act as an ambassador for the product and as the primary contact for queries related to the product

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • Proven experience in product development.
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • In-depth understand of Programming Languages including but not limited to: JavaScript, CSS/HTML, VBA, SQL
  • Familiarity with Software such as: SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, PowerApps, Power Automate, MS Forms, MS Project, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and oral) the complexities of technical requirements
  • Proficiency with information technologies in a secure network environment
  • Experience in training development
  • Strong technical skills in JavaScript and Web Development 
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Candidates based in California, Colorado, New York, Hawaii or Washington:The hourly rate for this position is $70/hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. CSA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
