About the role

As a Data Analyst/Engineer, you will concentrate on providing data solutions for the Supply Chain Organization. You will develop and deliver solutions to automate business processes and offer data-driven insights with visual tools (reports & dashboards). Your tasks will include creating and implementing methods to make data accessible and practical for meeting business goals. This will require applying data engineering, data science, and analysis techniques.  Additionally, you will program and maintain scheduling models within the RTMS environment for multiple production lines and products.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Responsible for engineering support of finite scheduling software; including system uptime, model builds, and KPI reporting
  • Create and Maintain production schedule models in RTMS (Real-Time Modeling System, an Emerson Product, formerly licensed by Bio-G)
  • Integrate RTMS with Manufacturing Systems (DeltaV DCS and Syncade MES) and ERP System (SAP)
  • Work together with internal clients to pinpoint and create data solutions that add value and insight; assist stakeholders with the creation and roll-out of reports and visuals using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Automate Business Processes by leveraging Microsoft applications and tools.
  • Support data projects using analysis methods including classical statistics and machine learning models.
  • Implement full project lifecycle: Identify opportunity, design, implement and document solution, and provide on-going support.
  • Provide documentation to ensure GxP compliance of computer systems and interfaces.
  • Supports break/fix root cause analysis of issues identified with computer systems and solutions.
  • Work in a way that models respect for safety and EHS, quality compliance, data integrity, and engineering standards.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • BS in Computer Science, Data Science or Information Systems 
  • 2+ years data analyst experience
  • Programming experience
  • Technical project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • GXP
  • Manufacturing experience in Life Science
  • Exposure and interest in computer systems and databases
  • Visual Basic Application (VBA) Programming (or similar programming experience)
  • Experience with Structed Query Language (SQL)
  • Experience with RTMS (Real-Time Manufacturing Scheduling)
