Director of Grassroots Operations

Americans For Prosperity – Texas is looking for a passionate advocate for liberty to lead their grassroots staff as the Director of Grassroots Operations. This position will be based in Texas.

How You Will Contribute

• Lead, coach, and mentor our team of Grassroots Engagement Directors as they recruit volunteers and mobilize their communities around AFP’s objectives
• Oversee the state’s voter-contact operations, and efforts around policy goals
• Manage the state chapter’s relationships with internal and external partners
• Supervise the team’s contractor recruitment strategy and implementation

• The ability to travel at least 25% of the time and a valid driver’s license. 
• Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect.

• Knowledge of the political, economic, and legislative landscape of Texas
• A background in grassroots activism, political lobbying, canvassing, or campaign work
