Manage high-profile exterior restoration and preservation projects from start to finish, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Conduct detailed façade performance analysis using software tools (e.g., structural loading, thermal and condensation modeling, geometry analysis).
Research historical and contemporary building materials to identify the best solutions for each project.
Attend construction meetings, lead site inspections, and document findings through field reports.
Develop repair strategies, oversee contract documents (drawings and specs), and ensure quality during construction phases.
Guide and support junior team members in both technical and professional development.
Perform peer reviews, condition assessments, and cost estimation to ensure excellence across all stages of work.
Support business development, nurture client partnerships, and represent the firm as a technical leader.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, or a BS in Civil Engineering.
8+ years in building envelope restoration, preservation architecture, or forensic engineering.
Expertise in façade assessment, repair design, and construction-phase services. Knowledge of conservation techniques and historic materials is a strong plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred.
