Summary of This Role

The Program and Project Management team is searching for an experienced, full-time Sr. Agile Project Manager to support our Enterprise TotalAP Solution. In this position, you will work closely with Software Product Development, Operations and Customer Facing  teams to successfully deliver critical, agile-driven projects to the Market to help MineralTree lead the rapidly expanding Accounts Payable Automation industry. In addition, you will help develop and drive strategic programs spanning the company and report status at the executive level. You will also help establish foundational project and program management tooling and practices across the organization. 

Job Specific Experience & Responsibilities

We are looking for candidates not in the IT space (e.g. managing projects associated with internal applications) but managing projects tied to delivering/supporting commercial software. This team has responsibility for managing an array of projects as well as Agile Teams and processes.  As such, the candidate will need to be a Scrum Master with Agile experience/knowledge needed. 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product development, professional services, support, and customer success teams to lead the release management program, and deliver high quality, high-value functionality within committed time frames

  • Initiate, build, and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and internal customers to ensure effective completion of project work

  • Support Product Delivery teams by creating data-driven program plans and by bringing visibility into progress, roadblocks, proactively managing risks and setting expectations

  • Facilitate effective communication between teams; ensure alignment, focus, and collaboration on program goals and objectives 

  • Report program status to stakeholders and leadership 

  • Drive continued improvement of team predictability and quality through the adoption and refinement of Agile practices

  • Apply advanced analysis and problem-solving skills to identify areas of process improvement; propose changes and drive change management

  • Establish project and program management practices and tooling that align with MineralTree standard practices

  • Guide and develop release management program; utilizing metrics to drive decisions and improvements

  • Work on complex issues, exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, evaluation criteria for obtaining results and networking  with key contacts outside own area of expertise

  • Create a team environment by establishing trust and transparency through collaboration and communication

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: No designated field; or equivalent training and/or work experience in lieu of a degree

  • Project Management experience delivering commercial, cloud based applications. 

  • 5-7 years’ experience managing complex, technical, cross-organizational projects and programs in a rapidly changing environment

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and mentoring skills

  • High emotional intelligence

  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence without authority

  • Strong analytical, planning, time management, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and technical individuals at all levels including the executive level
