The Registered Nurse Supervisor plays an integral role in helping us to achieve our vision: to consistently exceed expectations and set the standard for excellence in residential and community care.

What's your day like?

As the Registered Nurse Supervisor at Cobble Hill LifeCare, you will hold the pivotal leadership role within our facility, coordinating all staff and resident needs. You will lead the clinical team in providing top-notch care to clinically unstable patients, ensuring they receive optimum in-house treatment while avoiding unnecessary hospitalizations. Additionally, you will manage the admissions process for new residents, steering your team through any clinical and administrative emergencies that may arise. Your expertise will empower staff through education and mentorship, reinforcing our commitment to excellence.

Acting on behalf of the leadership team, you will deliver exceptional coaching and customer service to patients, families, visitors, and fellow staff members, fostering an environment of integrity and safety in every interaction. Your leadership will be the cornerstone of our dedication to compassionate care.

Would you be a great RN-Registered Nurse Supervisor-Overnight Shift?

To excel as a Registered Nurse Supervisor at Cobble Hill LifeCare, candidates should possess a blend of extensive clinical knowledge and strong leadership abilities. A minimum of 2-3 years of leadership experience and over 5 years of clinical practice are essential for navigating the complexities of patient care and team management effectively. Applicants must be graduates from an approved school of nursing and hold an active Registered Nurse license in New York State. Proficiency in critical care protocols is crucial; therefore, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to educate and inspire teams will be key attributes that contribute to success in fostering a compassionate care environment.
