As a Security Officer Xray Scanner in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, screen people and/or packages, and support daily operations through attentive observation and professional communication. This role combines customer service with security-related screening responsibilities, helping create a welcoming, well-managed environment. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with established screening protocols and post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and document screening results, refusals, and/or irregularities in required logs and reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unauthorized activity, operational concerns, and other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
