Senior Data Engineer

<p>We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Data Engineers to join our team of ΙΤ professionals on behalf of our clients in different industries within the Greek market. The candidate will play a key role in the development, implementation, and management of technology-based solutions to improve our clients’ data ecosystem and overall delivery.</p><p><u><strong>Responsibilities</strong></u></p><ul> <li>Design and maintain data warehouse (data preparation, data warehousing, reporting, analytics &amp; data exploration and information delivery)</li> <li>Support and maintain the data foundation that the reporting layer and dashboards rely on</li> <li>Build, maintain, and deploy data products for analytics and data science teams on cloud platforms</li> <li>Prepare high-level ETL mapping specifications</li> <li>Develop complex code data scripts (usually in Python or SQL) to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources.</li> <li>Act across all development levels - from data acquisition and manipulations to the solution deployment and ongoing support</li> <li>Ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security and compliance</li> <li>Resolve end user reporting problems through collaboration with stakeholders</li> <li>Troubleshoot technical issues and provide administrative support for the Business Intelligence toolbox</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (mandatory)</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience on software development using MS SQL Server, ETL tools and specifically SSIS</li> <li>3 years of experience in Data Migration projects</li> <li>Experience in IBM Data Technologies (IBM Data Stage Cloudpack) will be considered as a strong advantage</li> <li>Understanding of software applications' fundamental principles, communication methods, and their impact on users’ experience</li> <li>Very Good Testing &amp; Quality Assurance skills</li> <li>Good programming skills with a mindset of solving hard problems efficiently with creativity</li> <li>Communication &amp; Time Management Skills</li> <li>Able to work independently and as part of a group</li> <li>Analytical thinking &amp; Problem-Solving Attitude</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office</li> <li>Languages required: English and Greek, both written and verbal</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Professional development through participation in challenging, real business projects in different industries.</li> <li>Working in a dynamic and fast-growing banking Technology Company with recognized partners.</li> <li>Opportunity to work in a diverse environment with talented colleagues.</li> <li>Competitive remuneration package.</li> <li>Private Health Insurance.</li> <li>Training &amp; Development.</li> <li>Laptop.</li> <li>Flexible Working Environment.</li> </ul>
