We are seeking a qualified candidate to for Clinical Admission Review Specialist at Banyan Treatment Centers. The position is Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm & 12pm-8pm M, TH, F. Remote
Position Details:
- Reports to: Clinical Admissions Review Supervisor
- Schedule: Full-time, Weekend and Evening hours, 12-8pm M, TH, F and 10-6 Sat and Sun.
- Location: Pompano Beach, FL (Remote)
Our ideal candidate is a team player, who is detailed oriented and comfortable working with our Admissions Team and Clinical Managers to determine appropriate client admissions. They have 3+ years of experience in clinical admissions/assessments, experience in Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse patient care, and detox, residential, PHP and IOP levels of care.
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Responsible for review of admission assessment to determine appropriateness of facility services and level of care.
- Provide clinical/medical expertise during the admissions process.
- Follows up with appropriate Clinical team to collaborate on final decision of Admission
- Requests additional information as needed (medical records).
- Follows facility clinical and medical guidelines per level of care.
- Alerts clinical and other staff to any special problems or issues that may affect treatment.
- May conduct telephone screening of potential patients and referents to ensure that patients meet admission criteria.
- Conducts initial assessment of patient problems and needs and reports to clinical team in order to initiate treatment planning.
- Notes patient care and environmental issues and communicates with appropriate staff.
Requirements:
- 3 + years of experience in clinical admissions and assessments in Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse treatment.
- Experience with criteria for levels of care – detox, residential, PHP and IOP.
- Bachelor’s or greater degree in healthcare related field.
- Licensed LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or RN.
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve department goals.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks by importance.
