Medical Staff Coordinator

Works in collaboration with the assigned Medical Staff Department to conduct the business of the Medical Staff in conjunction with the operations of the Medical Center. Scope will include the preparation of agendas, meeting attendance, recording of minutes and management of information regarding assigned Medical Staff departments, committees and Medical Staff members in compliance with existing regulatory requirements as well Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules & Regulation requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Secretarial experience.
- 2 years Hospital/Medical staff office experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Medical-related field.
- Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services as a Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM), or Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPSC)
- Experience in hospital or medical-related field.
