As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your role will be essential in fostering a welcoming atmosphere, upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first while delivering reliable and innovative service every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare property, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, hazards, or unusual situations, to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and/or activity within the healthcare environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed.
• Complete required reports and documentation promptly and accurately, following Allied Universal guidelines and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age. (preference for roles stating 21+ years of age)
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
