<p><b>Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global Procurement > Blades Structure Materials </b><br/>
The Blades procurement team is based of 26 people located in India, China, Portugal, Denmark, Brazil, Mexico and USA. The procurement work within Vestas is managed through cross functional teams in the context of Module and Commodity Management.<br/>
We are responsible for developing the global supply base short, medium & long term with a view to always be able to satisfy requirements (KPIs) re. safety, quality, delivery and cost and thereby contribute actively to improve the competitive strength of the Group. Leading and driving improvement to Total Cost of Ownership is imperative.<br/>

<p><b>Responsibilities</b><br/>
The Senior Manager is to lead the team of Blades Structural Materials ensuring 3 well-functioning strong collaborative Commodity team's consisting of 5 team members from both global (Direct Line) and regional teams (Dotted Line)</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead end-to-end Commodity strategy and execution of the Commodities by ensuring Commodity Strategy is aligned with Vestas business strategy and anchored with relevant stakeholders in TPC, Group Units and Business Unit</li>
<li>Identify opportunities and keep developing pipeline of initiatives delivered across all BUs.</li>
<li>Standalone contract negotiation and signing for contracts managed under Global Governance and ensure proper contract lifecycle governance</li>
<li>Set clearly defined and measurable goals and objectives for the Commodity, and plan activities to reach the goals. Be accountable for the delivery of agreed savings and value-add targets and responsible for Commodity reporting activities and coordinate Commodity performance to meet SLAs towards customer/stakeholders </li>
<li>Work in partnership with the stakeholder teams and Business Units to ensure alignment of activities according to the interaction model, manage resources and stakeholders in a sourcing process, and ensure on-time and agreed quality delivery of projects, goods and services across the Commodities</li>
<li>Support and develop effective and beneficial supplier relationships as part of the supplier and contract management activities in respective Commodity, contribute to E2E Module strategy development, and maintain an awareness of latest buying techniques and theories and develop application within the company while ensuring collaboration across commodities to support the Module strategy implementation and development</li>
<li>Lead, develop, motivate Global Commodity team members, and assign team members to appropriate tasks, ensure skill development and succession planning for direct report and understand the deliverables and customer demand compared to resource availability and structure the sourcing team for effectiveness and align expectations down and up-wards</li>

<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>We expect that you hold a M.Sc. in Engineering, M.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration or a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration or other relevant education</li>
<li>There are evident efficient leadership skills</li>
<li>Including a demonstrated background of Strategic Procurement experience</li>
<li>Communication skills proving management of Internal and External stakeholders at various levels up-to Executives</li>
<li>Company language is English and as such prerequisite</li>
</ul>
