Your Role:

As an Occupational or Physical Therapist specializing in hand therapy, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for hand, wrist, elbow, and related upper extremity conditions.
  • Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, wound management, edema control, and custom splint fabrication.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, referring providers, and the clinical team to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care.
  • Use outcome tools and EMR documentation to track patient progress and communicate goals effectively.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on condition management, activity modification, and injury prevention.
  • Participate in program development and serve as a clinical resource within the hand therapy specialty.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy program
  • Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
  • Prior experience in upper extremity/hand therapy is a plus, but mentorship is available for those passionate about pursuing this specialty.
  • Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
