About The Role:
We are looking for a senior product designer to join our team to seek & identify improvement opportunities, forming hypotheses, running experiments, and designing solutions — this is a wide range and it’s not necessary to cover everything completely but expect to be involved with all these phases of the design process. We work very closely with product managers and owners, prioritising and shaping objectives. Our work is mostly anchored in data, be it conversion rates, engagement, or more qualitative input from user research or customer care. We work in Miro and Figma, we have a complete design system in place. We use it for production design, and we like using post-its and whiteboards, of course.
About The Team:
Currently, there are multiple lead and senior designers on the UX team and we have a dedicated visual design and copywriting team, but work with a broad range of roles. Most closely with product managers and marketing team, other designers, researchers, but also sales and business intelligence. We practice lean UX and make decisions based on experiments and data.
What You'll Do In This Role:
Work on security consumer products, such as Norton360, Avast Antivirus products which are used by millions of users. You set the vision for the user experience of this product and create the space for others to collaborate.
Design and define detailed storyboards, user stories, wireframes, mockups, and low/high fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Gauge the usability of new and existing products / features and let users lead the way. Our team focuses on listening to users and letting their needs guide us to the best design solutions.
Work with multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll partner closely with the engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges. Together with stakeholders, you’ll solve problems and come up with solutions that delight our users.
Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every detail, every step from idea to final design deliverable.
What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role:
At least 5 years of experience designing at consumer-focused tech companies.
Communication skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts and bring new ideas to life across other teams.
People-focused design mentality and an open mind for feedback from user research, A/B tests and other sources of data.
Ability to work in Figma / Miro to define strategies, wireframes, flow charts, and hi-fidelity design.
Own an online portfolio or PDF that you can share with us. A link to your online portfolio, or a PDF, is required.
What We Can Offer:
Unlimited PTO (paid time off), flexible working hours & home office.
The chance to join a major global tech company listed on S&P 500.
Cafeteria points provided by Benefit plus (CZK 24,000/year – meal plan, pension insurance, travel, and much more).
