Your qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10+ years of related work experience, preferably in aluminum & People Management
• Results orientated, Strong/Effective Communication, critical thought, organizational development

Your potential future opportunities

• Identify the key stakeholders across the organization to gain a clear understanding of the business needs that need to be supported by the Central Metals Group
• Analyze the supply market to understand market dynamics to be used in identifying supply opportunities.
• Design a metal strategy that consists of a proper mix of long term and short-term supply that addresses supply risk vs. reward.
• Collaborate with BA Management and other BUs on global market sourcing agendas, market intelligence, supplier management and other related metal procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with all Metal Risk Management Procedures and hedging processes.
• Maintain compliance with all corporate and local Directives & Procedures surrounding Procurement, Integrity Risk & Sustainability in the Supply Chain
• Responsible for supplier relationship management with major commodity suppliers to: (a) assure maximum value to Hydro (b) supply flow assurance; and (c)market intelligence.
• Support units develop metal plans that are aligned with inventory goals.
• Closely collaborate with Metal Optimization on purchased scrap initiatives.
