Job Description:

We are actively seeking a Senior Specialist - System Management to join our team in Edison, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up SAP Basis System and ensuring smooth operations of our organization’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up SAP Basis Systems to meet the organization's needs and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
2. Perform system monitoring and maintenance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security of the SAP systems.
3. Implement and maintain the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training and production).
4. Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly.
5. Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance.
6. Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.
7. Provide status reports for projects to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

As this is a senior position, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate should have:

1. Strong expertise in SAP Basis System Setup.
2. Excellent knowledge of SAP systems integration and of multiple SAP modules.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent project management skills.

While no specific experience is required, a demonstrable understanding of SAP Basis System and its applications is essential. Applicants should be highly motivated, with a keen interest in developing their technical skills and embracing new challenges.
