About the role

JOB SUMMARY: 

Responsible for accounting functions including but not limited to non-gaming receivable billing and payment processing for the Enterprise via Caesars Entertainment Business Services.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes to properly record and classify financial transactions for Receivable and Collection Management.  
  • Prepare client invoice for specified billing terms per the contractual agreement. 
  • Monitor aging of receivables and follow-up with client regarding any past due balances.
  • Demonstrates superior customer service for both internal and external customers.
  • Works closely with operation departments to ensure internal compliance guidelines are followed.
  • Develop and implement best practices in all areas of Receivable and Collection Management.  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

  • Four-year college graduate with a major in accounting or equivalent preferred.
  • One to two years of accounting or related experience, preferably in the gaming and/or hotel industry, and billing experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Pro.
  • Familiarity of state regulations.
  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles GAAP.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet assigned deadlines as required.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products.  Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
