Key Details:
- Pay: $141,850 – $161,200/year DOE
- Location: Remote in select states - must reside within the following areas: AZ, OR, WA, UT, NV, CA, WY, MT, ID, NM, CO, El Paso TX
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
- Benefits: Employer-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance; PTO, 10 paid holidays, company-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), 401k with 6% match, and flexible hybrid working schedule

Qualifications include:
- 10+ years’ experience in utilities and electric transmission planning
- Deep understanding of power system operations, modeling, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NERC, FERC, OATT)
- Proficiency with power system analysis tools (e.g., PowerWorld, PSS®E, PSLF) for conducting power flow, contingency, and stability studies
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or SQL to support data automation and pipeline development
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, collaborate across teams, and influence without formal authority
- Skilled in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution, with a focus on Power Systems Engineering and High Voltage Systems, required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferred
