Job Description

Process manufactured parts through washing equipment according to control plan and customer requirements. Ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the entire process while working in a team. The first shift is Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with occasional overtime.

- Ownership of equipment start up, ensuring settings are correct to prescribed readings, including the proper addition of cleaning solutions and rust preventative per lab instruction.

- Conduct periodic chemistry testing of water/soap mixture and maintain proper levels.

- Maintain existing automation and its functions  

- Ensure proper tank levels, uphold proper load size.

- Responsible for safe use of electric power equipment (pallet jack)

- Load and unload machine, managing lot integrity.

- Packing parts according to predetermined customer quality requirements

- Utilize automated and manual packing instructions found in operator book.

- Move processed work to proper department or staging area, maintaining proper lot control procedures.

- Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of work area and equipment.

- Label and move drums containing skimmed oil to staging area for proper disposal

- Follow all procedures as outlined in the ITW Drawform Quality System

- Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures of ITW Drawform.

- Additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Able to lift approximately 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Pallet jack experience preferred
